Who Am I?
Hi! My names Rhys, I’ve been teaching for the past 7 years and I absolutely love it. My goal is to introduce people of all ages to music and show people how enjoyable it can be.
Most people’s experience with musical education is in high school where it is turned into a mundane subject with minimal practical experience with actual instruments. My goal is to teach music as a whole weaving the theory and the playing of music together. I focus on building confidence in my students with both the mental and physical aspects of music lessons.
I offer many ways of learning music and as every student responds differently to differing educational practices. I teach people of all ages and ability, helping them set and move towards their individual musical goals whether it be simply learning a song they love to becoming a well seasoned performer.
